Sporting Bears

On Saturday 20th April from 10am to 4.30 pm we will be joined by the Isle of Wight Sporting Bears who will be holding their first Dream Rides Event of 2019 where for a suggested donation you could be out for a 20 minute passenger ride on the car of your dreams!

The “Bears”, as they are affectionately known, are a dedicated group of classic car and sports car enthusiasts with the primary aim – to raise money for children’s charities through social and touring events, and supporting other charitable events. It is to the club’s credit that annual subscriptions support the club overheads thus allowing all monies raised from Dream Rides and other events to be directed towards the selected charities.  Since the Club was formed in 1989 The Bears have raised over £2,000,000 for children’s charities in the UK.

The Sporting Bears will be raising much needed funds for Ability Dogs 4 Young People IoW.

You could have a 20-25 minute/8 mile passenger ride in –

£10 Donation – Mercedes 350SLK

£15 – Sandrail

£20 Donation – choice of Mazda RX7, RTR Rocket, Aston Martin N430 or Jaguar XKRS

£30 Donation – choice of 2 different Ford Mustangs or a Nissan GTR

£40 Donation – Lamborghini Huracan

Rides can only be booked on the day, in the event that the car may be unable to turn up, or the passenger does not arrive. Children from 6 to 18 require parental consent, children from 6 to 12yrs old and under the height of 135cm will be required to use a booster seat, these are supplied.

Children under 6yrs are unable to take part.
